Eric Worre said, “We help the blind to see.”
That’s what we do in network marketing. We open eyes blinded by ignorance and fear.
People are steeped in outdated advice from parents, and in fear of trying a “new” thing. Sometimes they don’t even trust themselves to commit to a better future. They need a guide, a trigger, a wake-up call to help them get outside their box and better their lives!
So, I accept this mission… AND it’s a LOT OF WORK!
It takes energy, time, creativity, and patience to:
* listen truly
* ask the right questions
* stand in their shoes
* speak their language
* say it in a new way
* keep the vision for them
* cajole
* support
* encourage
* wait until they’re ready
THEY are the only ones who can take the step. Yet I need to do a good job of paving the way, and pointing to the open window so they don’t miss it.
I need to be alert to when a person who needs a better life is standing next to me. To have the awareness to hear their pain that I can help solve.
Yes, it’s not always easy, to stay awake myself, keep the vision, and share it in a way that works for them. Sometimes I feel quite elated, sometimes I feel discouraged or frustrated.
If you feel like this, know you are not alone. Get support from the MLM community, such as online or in the MLM Millionaire Club. Get guidance from a mentor, coach, upline and especially your own inner guidance.
That’s what the MLM Millionaires do. That’s why they get paid so much!
